The second, dated 1888, shows some of the same men and women, with spaces where others had been located, with signs saying "LEFT" held by the people and signs saying "TAKEN" in the empty spaces. Photographer of the three photographs was N. D. Benedict, Litchfield.

One photo identifies Horatis Benton (died in 1875) & David Turkington in 1874 taken by Benedict's Studio in Litchfield, Conn. Another photo identifies Frank H. Turkington as High Sheriff of Litchfield, Conn. Also a photograph of Lucy (Wattles) Johnson wife of Harry Johnson, mother of Lucy Johnson who married David Turkington.

Names identified are Frances Wessells & dog, Frances Wessells "The Kid", Julia Wessells, Julia Adams Wessells, Fredericka Wessells (Fredericka Wessells Caldwell).
